Vaisakhi List (2016)

Vaisakhi List is a 2016 Punjabi comedy directed by Smeep Kang, one of the most successful comedy directors in Punjabi cinema, known for the Carry On Jatta films. Jimmy Shergill, who moves between Hindi and Punjabi films, heads the cast with Shruti Sodhi, while television comedian Sunil Grover, then hugely popular for his characters on a Hindi comedy show, gets a major comic role. The title refers to the festival of Vaisakhi, and the film is a light ensemble comedy built on misunderstandings and Punjabi humour.
