Vaishakham is a Telugu romantic family drama from director Jaya B., known for her women-centred and family films, produced by her husband B. A. Raju. Newcomers Harish and Avantika Mishra play the leads: a carefree young man and a sensible young woman whose sparring in a crowded apartment complex turns into romance. Around them the film paints a picture of neighbours and joint-family life, of how people living side by side quarrel and support one another. It is a gentle, clean entertainer with songs and comedy, aimed at family audiences.
