Vallavan (2006)

Vallavan is a carefree young man who disguises himself to win the love of a woman older than him, and the romance runs into trouble once the truth comes out. Then a girl from his school days re-enters his life, and her obsession with him turns dangerous. Silambarasan wrote, directed and starred in the film and gave it a flashy, youthful style. Yuvan Shankar Raja's soundtrack, including "Loosu Penne", was a big hit, and the film paired Silambarasan with Nayanthara at the height of her early fame, with Reema Sen as the obsessive old flame.
