Vanam (2021)

Vanam is a Tamil supernatural thriller starring Vetri, Anu Sithara and Smruthi Venkat. Vetri plays a student at an art college whose life is overtaken by a mystery linked to a run of strange deaths and to a story from the past; the title means "forest". It belongs to the wave of mid-budget Tamil thrillers of the early 2020s, and Vetri, who had made his name with the thriller 8 Thottakkal, continued here in the same line of mystery-driven roles.
