Vapsi Saajan Ki (1995)

Vapsi Saajan Ki ("the beloved's return") is a little-known Hindi romantic drama from the mid-1990s, with Shoaib Khan, Shoma Sircar and Ashwini Bhave, the Marathi star who also appeared in Hindi films such as Henna. As its title suggests, the story turns on love, separation and the hope of a lover coming back, told in the song-filled style of the period. It is a modest production, of interest mainly to collectors of 1990s Hindi cinema.
