Veerey Ki Wedding (2018)

Veerey is a good-natured young man from Delhi who falls for Geet, but her father has strict ideas about the kind of family his daughter should marry into. Veerey's elder brother Balli, devoted but quick to anger and quicker with his fists, keeps making things worse, and every attempt to bring the two families together collapses into a quarrel. As the wedding approaches, misunderstandings, ego clashes and comic disasters threaten to call the whole thing off. Veerey Ki Wedding is a broad North Indian family comedy in the tradition of big fat Delhi wedding films, with Jimmy Sheirgill's brash Balli supplying much of the humour opposite real-life couple Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda.
