Vellaikaara Durai (2014)

Vellaikaara Durai is a Tamil comedy from Ezhil, the director of Manam Kothi Paravai and Desingu Raja, who specialises in rural comic entertainers. Vikram Prabhu plays a carefree young man and Soori, the leading Tamil comedian of the period, is his constant companion, and their misadventures, a romance with the character played by Sri Divya and a feud with a powerful local figure drive the story. D. Imman, a regular collaborator of Ezhil, composed the songs. It was a lighter turn for Vikram Prabhu after his more serious early films, and it was released in December 2014.
