Vishnu (1995)

Vishnu is one of the films from the first phase of Vijay's career, when his father, director S. A. Chandrasekhar, was steering him through a series of youthful romances and action dramas. It pairs him with Sanghavi, his frequent co-star of the mid-1990s, and features veteran Jaishankar in a supporting role, with songs by Deva. Made just before Vijay's breakthrough with Poove Unakkaga, it belongs to the period in which he was building his following with young audiences and is mainly of interest to fans tracing the actor's early work.
