Viswamitra (2019)

Viswamitra is a 2019 Telugu thriller with a supernatural edge, directed by Raja Kiran, who earlier made the horror comedy Geethanjali. Nandita Raj leads the cast with Prasanna Kumar, and Satyam Rajesh adds comic relief. The story follows a woman whose life is touched by strange happenings that seem to answer her wishes and fears, and the film unfolds as a mystery in which each revelation raises the stakes. It mixes suspense, light humour and a few scares in the manner of mid-budget Telugu thrillers of the period.
