Mahesh is so tight-fisted that he counts every grain of rice. He manages to win the hand of a girl from a well-off family and plans a frugal wedding to match, but on the wedding day the 2020 COVID lockdown is announced and his new in-laws, all of them, find themselves stuck in his small house with nowhere to go. Feeding and housing the crowd for weeks becomes his personal nightmare, and the family's quirks and demands push him to breaking point. The comedy is built on the shared memory of the lockdown and on comedian Satya, who carries his first major lead role. Sundeep Kishan produced the film and appears in a cameo as an ambulance driver.
