Vrithra (2019)

Vrithra is a Kannada crime thriller about Indra Rao, a young sub-inspector who takes charge of an apparently open-and-shut suicide case. Small details do not add up, and as she keeps digging, against the wishes of colleagues who want the matter closed, she finds a hidden story behind the death. It is an investigation drama with a woman officer at its centre and a debut for director R. Gautham.
