Description

Vikram Prabhu plays a young Tamilian who joins the Border Security Force with no great sense of mission and is posted to the India-Pakistan frontier. There he meets and falls in love with a young woman from across the border, and circumstances soon land him in Pakistani territory, where he must survive and find a way home. Wagah, named after the famous border crossing, is a patriotic romantic action drama that tries to combine love story, survival thriller and India-Pakistan sentiment. D. Imman composed the songs. It met with a mixed response but stands out among Tamil films of its year for its border setting.
