Woh Bhi Din The (2024)

Woh Bhi Din The ("those were the days") is a nostalgic coming-of-age drama set in a small Indian town around the late 1990s, when cable TV, cyber cafes and the first mobile phones were changing the lives of teenagers. It follows a schoolboy, played by Rohit Saraf, and his circle of friends through crushes, exams, rivalries and the awkward business of growing up, with Adarsh Gourav and Sanjana Sanghi in key roles. Director Sajid Ali, who earlier made Laila Majnu, shot the film several years before it finally reached audiences in 2024, by which time several of its young actors had become well known.
