World Famous Lover (2020)

Gautham gave up his job to become a writer, and his long relationship with Yamini, played by Raashi Khanna, is collapsing under the strain. As she leaves, he starts writing, and the film moves between his own crumbling romance and the love stories he imagines, including one set in a coal-mining town, where Vijay Deverakonda plays a union leader married to the devoted Suvarna, played by Aishwarya Rajesh, and another set in Paris. Each story looks at love, ego and sacrifice from a different angle. World Famous Lover reunited director Kranthi Madhav with the producer of Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, and Gopi Sundar wrote the music. Aishwarya Rajesh's performance was widely praised, though the film itself did poorly at the box office.
