Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai? (2002)

Four young friends on the verge of finishing college decide that they have spent long enough watching others enjoy romance, and promise one another that each of them will find a girlfriend before the end of term. Their efforts lead to misunderstandings, crushes, humiliations and a few real feelings, as the comedy of awkward youth gives way to questions about what love actually is. Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai? was an early film by Hansal Mehta, long before Shahid and Scam 1992, and was openly modelled on the American teen comedies of its time, with an almost entirely new young cast. It was little noticed on release.
