Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000)

A shop assistant and a shipping magnate's daughter fall for each other; he is murdered in front of her, nobody believes her, and in New Zealand she meets a man who is his double. Hrithik Roshan plays both and made his first film here, with Ameesha Patel; his father Rakesh Roshan directed. It was the biggest hit of its year and the debut became an event in itself — Roshan won both the best-newcomer and the best-actor Filmfare awards for it, which had not happened before. Some uploads date it 1999 and some 2000; it was released in January 2000. Playback is withheld here because the copies were uploaded with their format details disguised; the entry stays listed.
