Infini (2015)

In the 23rd century, workers are sent to distant colonies by 'slipstreaming', a form of instant travel across space. When a deadly incident on the remote mining station Infini leaves only one survivor, a young recruit named Whit Carmichael, a rescue team is sent in to bring him back and stop a dangerous cargo from being returned to Earth. What they find is a station where the crew turned on each other, and a contagion that makes people violent and paranoid and that begins to spread among the rescuers too. Infini is an Australian science-fiction thriller written and directed by Shane Abbess, who had made Gabriel. It was shot in Sydney on a modest budget and its claustrophobic sets were widely noticed. Luke Hemsworth, elder brother of Chris and Liam, is in the cast.
