Kinare Kinare (1963)

Kinare Kinare ("along the shore") is a 1963 romantic drama written and directed by Chetan Anand, who also acts in it, with his younger brother Dev Anand and Meena Kumari in one of their few films together. It is a story of love, loss and the distance between people who care for each other. The film is remembered mainly for Jaidev's music, which includes some of his most admired songs. For admirers of the Anand brothers and of Meena Kumari, it is a lesser-seen title from the peak years of all three.
