Bedaag (1965)

Bedaag ("spotless") is a 1965 Hindi social drama starring Manoj Kumar and Nanda. As its title suggests, it turns on questions of honour and innocence, following a man who must clear his name and protect the people he loves, in the style of the family melodramas of the mid-1960s with songs and emotional confrontations. It comes from the period just before Manoj Kumar's patriotic films made him a major star.
