Mahaanta (1997)

Mahaanta is a 1997 action drama starring Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit, with Jeetendra in a substantial role. The film was shot in the early 1990s, when Sanjay and Madhuri were one of the most popular pairs in Hindi cinema, but its release was delayed for years, and it finally reached theatres well after their run together had ended. The story follows the familiar pattern of the period, with a hero fighting powerful criminals, a romance with songs, and family loyalty at its heart.
