Where Is the Venkatalakshmi (2019)

Chanti and Pandu are a pair of lazy, scheming young men in a village, always in trouble and short of money. When a glamorous new teacher, Venkatalakshmi, arrives in the village, both lose their heads over her, and their attempts to impress her lead them into strange and frightening events. The teacher is not quite what she seems, and the comedy slowly turns into a ghost story. Raai Laxmi plays the title role, with comedians Madhunandan and Praveen as the two friends. It is a small, broad horror comedy of the kind that was common in Telugu cinema in the late 2010s.
