Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni (As You Sow, So Shall You Reap) is a 1989 family drama directed by Vimal Kumar, with dialogue by Kader Khan, who also acts in it. Govinda plays the family man at its centre and Kimi Katkar his wife, and the story follows how love, greed and ingratitude play out across generations of a family. Its message, that a person's deeds come back to them, is summed up in the title song, which became widely known. It was one of the films that established Govinda in family melodrama as well as comedy.
