Love Songs: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow (2008)

Love Songs: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow is a 2008 English-language Indian film that, as its title promises, looks at love at different stages of life and in different eras, linking stories through music. Its strength lies in its senior cast: Jaya Bachchan, Om Puri and the dancer-actress Mallika Sarabhai, three performers with long careers in serious cinema and the arts. It is a quiet, talk-driven film rather than a commercial entertainer, and suits viewers who enjoy gentle relationship dramas.
