Ahista Ahista ("slowly, slowly") is a 1981 Hindi romantic drama directed by Esmayeel Shroff. It starred Kunal Kapoor, son of Shashi Kapoor, in his debut lead role, opposite a teenage Padmini Kolhapure, with Shammi Kapoor and Nanda in senior parts. The story is a tender love affair between two young people that meets the obstacles of class and family. The film is best remembered today for Khayyam's music, especially the ghazal-style song Nazar Se Phool Chunti Hai Nazar and Kabhi Kisi Ko Mukammal Jahan Nahin Milta, which found a lasting audience among lovers of soft, classical-tinged film songs.
