Naughty Boy (1962)

Naughty Boy is a 1962 Hindi comedy directed by Shakti Samanta, made in the years when he and Kishore Kumar were turning out a run of light, song-filled entertainers. Kishore plays the restless, mischievous hero of the title opposite Kalpana, and his fondness for pratfalls, funny voices and sudden bursts of song drives the film. S. D. Burman, Kishore's most frequent collaborator of the era, composed the music. It is a period piece of breezy black-and-white Bombay comedy, best enjoyed for its star's manic energy and the songs.
