Souten Ki Beti (1989)

Souten Ki Beti ("the other woman's daughter") is a 1989 family melodrama from Saawan Kumar Tak, a follow-up in spirit to his hit Souten. Jeetendra plays a husband whose life is shared between two women, played by Rekha and Jaya Prada, and the story turns on the sacrifice of a woman who brings up the daughter of her rival. It is a typical Saawan Kumar tearjerker about marriage, motherhood and selflessness.
