Jaali Note (1960)

Jaali Note ("counterfeit note") is a 1960 Hindi crime thriller from Shakti Samanta, the director who later made Kashmir Ki Kali and Aradhana. Dev Anand plays a man on the trail of a gang flooding the market with fake currency, a role that suits his suave screen persona, and Madhubala co-stars. Om Prakash adds comedy and Helen dances. It is a stylish, song-filled crime entertainer of the type that made Dev Anand's black-and-white thrillers so popular.
