Le Gaya Saddam (2012)

Le Gaya Saddam is a low-budget Hindi comedy headlined by Raghubir Yadav, the veteran of Massey Sahib, Peepli Live and Salaam Bombay, who here plays a small-town everyman caught up in a comic muddle. The film is directed by Amjad Khan (not the late actor of Sholay fame) and leans on broad situational humour, rural characters and Yadav's knack for deadpan exasperation. It is a minor film, but a chance to see one of Hindi cinema's finest character actors in a lead role.
