Meena Bazar (2001)

Meena Bazar is a small Hindi film from 2001 that brings together Om Puri, one of the most respected character actors of Hindi and international cinema, with Roopa Ganguly, remembered by many as Draupadi in the television Mahabharat, and veteran screen villain Shakti Kapoor. Little has been written about the film and it had a low-profile release. It is of interest mainly to viewers following the careers of its three leads, each of whom brings a distinct screen presence: Om Puri's gravitas, Roopa Ganguly's intensity and Shakti Kapoor's familiar menace and comic flair.
