Suryaa (1989)

Suryaa, subtitled An Awakening, is a 1989 Hindi action drama directed by Esmayeel Shroff, with Raaj Kumar, Vinod Khanna, Raj Babbar and Bhanupriya. It is a story of exploitation and resistance, in which the poor are pushed to rise up against a tyrannical landlord and his allies. Raaj Kumar's imperious dialogue delivery, a fan favourite, is one of its main attractions. Few further details of the film are widely remembered.
