Scott Murphy was a high-school football star in small-town Ohio until a crushing injury in the state championship ended his scholarship hopes. Years later he is a struggling soybean farmer, worried about money and sure his life went wrong on that one night. At his lowest point he finds himself back in 1991, a teenager again, days before the game, with the chance to change everything. Spending time again with his old coach, played by Kurt Russell, and with the girl who became his wife, he has to decide what really matters. Touchback is a small, sincere drama about regret and second chances, written and directed by Don Handfield.
