Hawas (1974)

Hawas, "lust" or "greed", is a 1974 Hindi drama directed by Sawan Kumar Tak, a filmmaker known for bold women-centred stories. It stars Anil Dhawan with Rekha and a young Neetu Singh, and it deals with temptation, betrayal and the cost of giving in to desire. The film is best remembered for Usha Khanna's music, especially the Mohammed Rafi song 'Teri Galiyon Mein Na Rakhenge Kadam', which became an enduring classic of heartbreak.
