Yudh (1985)

Yudh ("war") was the first film directed by Rajiv Rai, who would go on to make Tridev, Vishwatma and Mohra. It brings together Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor, two of the rising stars of the mid-1980s, with Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini and Tina Munim in a multi-star crime drama of family, loyalty and revenge. The film set the template for Rai's glossy action style, and its music by Kalyanji-Anandji was popular.
