Apna Bana Lo (1982)

Apna Bana Lo is an early-1980s family drama from J. Om Prakash, the filmmaker known for a long run of emotional dramas whose titles all begin with the letter A. Jeetendra and Rekha, one of the busiest screen pairs of the period, play the leads, with Amrish Puri in a strong supporting role. The story deals with ties of love and family put to the test by greed and misunderstanding, in the sentimental style that was Om Prakash's trademark.
