Description

Sunehra Sansar ("golden world") was directed by Adurthi Subba Rao, the celebrated Telugu filmmaker who also made several Hindi films. It brings together Rajendra Kumar, the "Jubilee Kumar" of the 1960s, in the later phase of his career, with Mala Sinha and the rising star Hema Malini. The story is a domestic drama in the South Indian family-film tradition, built on love, misunderstanding and sacrifice within a household, with songs carrying much of the emotion.
