Description

Gurudev is a 1993 Hindi drama directed by actor Vinod Mehra, who died in 1990 before it was completed; the film was finished after his death and released three years later. Rishi Kapoor plays a film director, Sridevi plays the actress he mentors, and Anil Kapoor plays a police officer, in a story set partly in the world of filmmaking that mixes romance, jealousy and crime. It is of interest chiefly for its starry cast and as Vinod Mehra's final work behind the camera.
