Coolie (1983)

A railway porter whose mother was taken from him as a child, and the long reckoning. Amitabh Bachchan leads with Rishi Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman. During a fight scene at Bangalore, Bachchan was injured so badly that he nearly died, and the weeks of bulletins on his condition brought crowds to pray outside the hospital; the film was finished months later, and the shot in which he was hurt is marked in the print. The Internet Archive copy was uploaded with its format details disguised, so playback is withheld here; the entry stays listed and the Archive's own page remains reachable.
