Two men were once the closest of friends, but a rift has turned them into rival gang lords whose war is tearing their city apart. A police officer comes up with a plan to end the feud: get the son of one and the daughter of the other to fall in love. Rahul and Priya at first play along, then find the romance becoming real, while their fathers rage. Directed by Ramesh Sippy, the maker of Sholay, Zamaana Deewana is a lively romantic comedy with action, pairing a young Shah Rukh Khan with Raveena Tandon, and Jeetendra and Shatrughan Sinha as the warring fathers. Nadeem-Shravan composed the songs.
