Dharam Chopra
Cinematographer of the Chopra family's films · 1924–2002
Dharam Chopra was the cameraman of the Chopra brothers' golden years: the brother of both B.R. Chopra and Yash Chopra. On Dhool Ka Phool (1959), B.R. Chopra handed the direction to his younger brother Yash, and Dharam Chopra made his debut as a full-time cinematographer. He went on to shoot Waqt, India's first big multi-star film, and decades later Dahleez (1986), directed by his nephew Ravi Chopra, the son of B.R. Chopra.
