Kay Gee - Kamalnath Ganpatrao Korgaonkar - photographed the films that made Yash Chopra's reputation. Ittefaq (1969), Deewaar (1975), Kabhi Kabhie (1976), Kaala Patthar (1979) and Silsila (1981) are all his, and so is the look people mean when they talk about those pictures: the long lens on Amitabh Bachchan in the dock-side dark of Deewaar, the cold whites of Silsila.
